Having a mid week outing in the boat up the Waimac while there was still a bit of snow left on the ground, lots of birds out at the Hamiliton hut for some reason, everything was making the most of the fine weather , Thanks for watching

Not much different than last years, back to doing the easy kiddies track as the hard course got cancelled again, which turns it into a easy sprint down the gravel roads, slightly quicker this time at 1:25:28 . Now that thats over with I can get back into some boating again.

Heres a few lessons from the hollyford trip, carry more spares than you need, be prepared to stay overnight of longer if you have to be rescued, put everything into dry bags and tie it to the boat , have some spare parts for the impeller, carry plenty of fuel and food and remember these boats always float If you are looking for an Inflatable outboard jet talk to Graeme at www.outbackboats.nz/ a...

Heres a little taste of what happened on the practice run for the kayaking section for the Coast to Coast, there is a lot of people in the background making this all happen and a lot of highly skilled rescue people all along the river to recover anyone in difficulty, roll on the Coast to Coast longest day on the 10th of Febuary next year

Coming back from our trip away down south with the last hurdle to get through.This bit of the river is called the hidden falls on the Hollyford river, most jetboaters will fly their boats by helicopter both ways, or winch the boats through the bush .However is pretty easy to boat ,the obvious line wasnt the right choice to take , it didnt take long to work it out. hi, i was wondering if you can share your information on motor height to the bottom of the boat and... do you always have to run the tip of the shoe under to avoid cavitation? i just got myself a strizh 420. trying to fine tune it to run skinny. i got a 40hp enduro on it
you might have to talk to the strizh people about how to set it up, each boat brand is different from each other as far as tunnel sizing and shape so what works on mine wont be the same as yours

yes there are trout and salmon in the river
Here in Abkhazia (the Black Sea coast near the Caucasus Mountains) there are many very similar rivers, and the terrain is very similar to what you have in New Zealand. But in the whole country there is not a single person who would ride the rivers like you :(

been watching jetboat stuff for a long time now, but i'll tell one for sure that goatracing610 was the first channel i'd ever had my mind blown watching what these things can do. the switch to an inflatable with a modified outboard, man, i respect the crap out of that. saved me and my family a lot of money because we were just about to get into it way up north in ontario canada. the current setup makes _WAY_ more sense to me.
Thanks for the video mate, guessing you wouldn't go back to a standard jetboat nowadays. I wonder if they do a console steer, they look like fun.
sold all the jetboat gear off, all the parts, spares and sheets of aluminium ,with these boats theres next to no maintaince, cant be dinted, dont need to spend any time out in the shed rebuilding the hull or anything else thats broken or snapped off. I have had a go in one with the steering wheel and a suzuki fourstroke on the back , they go really well , feel like a normal boat outbackboats.nz/products/extreme-47-tiller-steer-package

Could have carried on, ploughed my way over the logs and trhoough the weed ,somedays its just easier to turn around and to have an easy day, keep up the videos ,they look good

@@goatracing610 the insta 360 series of cameras is far superior, and the great thing is when it comes to editing the footage if there is something that happened behind you or basically anywhere you weren't look at specifically you can orient the camera angle toward that in post, or do 360 sweeps etc, also waterproof and higher resolution. Love your work by the way, keep em coming
